Course Description (from College Catalogue)
This course provides an in-depth overview enabling participants to professionally install, maintain, troubleshoot and optimize the performance of a Microsoft SQL Server database. Topics include: database administration best practices, management of studio features and updates from previous versions, back-up and recovery procedures, T-SQL features and enhancements, utilities, security and operations. Participants gain practical experience supporting a lab environment SQL Server database. Microsoft Certification Exam 70-431.

Being a lab focused class, attendance and participation is essential and is a direct part of your grade. Course work is expected to be completed in a proper and timely order.
